Cookbook, Cooking Contest, and Cake Orders
June 14th, 2013

Wow!  The last few weeks have been amazing for Little E's Kitchen.

I found out that I won 2nd place  in Cave Girl Cuisine's Second Annual Mystery Basket Challenge!  Since I won 2nd place, I get a $50 gift card to Whole Foods!  The cooking contest was a lot of fun.  I had to choose 4 ingredients from the mystery basket and create an original recipe with those ingredients.  I created a Mango and Watermelon Poke Cake for the contest.  The cake was delicious!  Thank you for voting!

The editor of Paleo Magazine sent me an email to tell me that my Cinnamon Crumble Coffee Cake recipe will be published in their upcoming cookbook.  I can't wait to share my recipe with the Paleo community.  It is one of my favorites.

I've had a busy few weeks with cupcake orders!  If you live in the League City area, please email me if you are interested in ordering custom Paleo cupcakes.

I can't wait to see what the future holds for Little E's Kitchen!

Farmers Market And A New Sign
May 23rd, 2013

I am a first grade teacher and today was my school's farmers market.  I was excited to sell my paleo desserts at my first farmers market.  All of the proceeds that I made from the market will go directly back into my classroom.  I can't wait to buy more books, and apps for my kids!  It was really exciting to be able to talk to people about the paleo diet and how it has changed my life.  There were a lot of people who had never heard of paleo or any of the benefits that go along with it. Hopefully people left with some new information.

Trica Goins from The Little Cottage on the Pond made me a brand new sign.  I LOVE it!!  It's so "me" and when it is not in use at farmers markets/crossfit cometitions...it will be a perfect addition to my kitchen!  If you are interested in a sign like mine or a design consult, let her know.  She is great!!

Little E's Kitchen Selling Paleo Treats at Crossfit Kemah
May 18th, 2013

Today I sold my paleo goodies at Crossfit Kemah.  CFK is going to regionals next weekend and they had a fundraiser wod/mini competiton.  I found out on Wednesday afternoon that I was going to sell at the fundraiser.  I worked SO HARD getting everything made!  I was up until 11:00-12:00 each night.  (And for me... that is really late!!)  It was my first time selling my treats at a venue.  I had no idea how much to make, or if people would even want to buy!  I was so excited with the turnout!

I sold Paleo Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Paleo Coconut Almond Butter Cups, Paleo Cinnamon Crumble Coffee Cake, and Paleo Blueberry Coconut Coffee Cake.  I am looking forward to selling at Mossman's Farmers Market on Thursday from 3:00-6:00.
If you are interested in a cake to order, you can email me at www.littleekitchenemail@gmail.com
